The Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research
Creating Beautiful Communities
Regis Corporation is proud of its ongoing commitment to breast cancer research. In 1990, Regis began its efforts to raise awareness of breast cancer research, education and prevention. The Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, founded by Anita Kunin, a breast cancer survivor and the wife of former Regis Vice-Chairman Myron Kunin, provides support for early diagnosis, prevention, treatment and a cure for breast cancer.
Clip for the Cure
We're particularly proud of our stylists' commitment and contributions to the fight against breast cancer. Each year, our dedicated stylists across North America participate in the Clip for the Cure. This annual event, which takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, has raised $10 million for breast cancer research and education. Click here to learn more.
Twin Cities Race for the Cure
Since its inception, we've been an enthusiastic sponsor of the annual Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure. In addition to participating as a Gold level sponsor, we honor breast cancer survivors and race-day participants with awards, gifts and mementos.
Another of Regis Corporation's philanthropic efforts is our partnership with Good360, the nonprofit leader in product giving. Formerly Gifts In Kind International, Good360 was created in 1983 to help companies efficiently donate inventory to charitable organizations. Since then, Good360 has connected more than $7 billion worth of product from America’s top brands. Regis Corporation salons donate beauty and haircare products which Good360 delivers to a network of more than 35,000 charities through a variety of distribution channels. Regis is excited to be a part of this unique philanthropic opportunity. Learn more at good360.org.
