The Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research
Creating Beautiful Communities
Regis Corporation is proud of its ongoing commitment to breast cancer research. In 1990, Regis began its efforts to raise awareness of breast cancer research, education and prevention. The Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, founded by Anita Kunin, a breast cancer survivor and the wife of former Regis Vice-Chairman Myron Kunin, provides support for early diagnosis, prevention, treatment and a cure for breast cancer.
Clip for the Cure
We're particularly proud of our stylists' commitment and contributions to the fight against breast cancer. Each year, our dedicated stylists across North America participate in the Clip for the Cure. This annual event, which takes place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, has raised $10 million for breast cancer research and education. Click here to learn more.
Twin Cities Race for the Cure
Since its inception, we've been an enthusiastic sponsor of the annual Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure. In addition to participating as a Gold level sponsor, we honor breast cancer survivors and race-day participants with awards, gifts and mementos.
Gifts In Kind International
Another of Regis Corporation's philanthropic efforts is our partnership with Gifts In Kind International. Gifts In Kind has distributed more than $4 billion in product donations to over 200,000 nonprofit groups. Regis Corporation salons donate beauty and haircare products. These products are consolidated at a central Gifts In Kind warehouse, from which hundreds of local charities can obtain the products they need. Regis is excited to be a part of this exciting and unique philanthropic opportunity.
